What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing and applying equipment standards and customer design specifications.
- Coordinating project designs and overseeing drafting personnel.
- Reviewing fabricator quotes, purchase orders, and shop drawings for accuracy.
- Performing ASME code calculations using Compress software and pipe stress analyses using Ceasar.
- Monitoring fabrication and construction activities at supplier shops to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Participating in equipment commissioning to confirm system functionality.
About You
- Be able to do the job as described.
- Holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge of ASME code calculations and experience using Compress or PV Elite software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Understanding of project management fundamentals and ability to work in a team.
- Available for domestic and international travel (10–20%).
- Preference for candidates with experience in the chemical process industry with pressure vessel design experience using Compress.
- Spanish proficiency is a plus.
